Obituary of Florence 'Elsie' LATIMER

LATIMER - Florence Elsie (nee Burns) in her 84th year born Dalton-in-Furness, Lancs., England, died at Pioneer Village, Regina, March 18, 2007 after a long illness. Elsie was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert in 2001, her brothers Les and Gilbert. She is survived by her brother Ken (Evon), South Africa; daughter Helen (David) Livingston, Ontario; son Robert (Sandy) New Zealand; daughter Anthea (Ken) White City; grandchildren Mark and Matthew (Tammy) Livingston, John Fritz; Justin and Julian Latimer; and two great-grandchildren Jacob and Ethan Livingston. Elsie immigrated to Canada with the children in 1964 and taught piano for many years in Melfort and North Battleford. They moved to Regina when Bob retired in 1984. The family would like to thank the staff of 4 West for their wonderful care over the years, and especially as Mom deteriorated. Your kindness and compassion are greatly appreciated. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Pastor Bob Leeson officiating.
