Obituary of Hugh Bernard MacISAAC

MacIsaac, Hugh Bernard 19 July 1926 - 19 March 2007 Bernard was born, educated, and worked in Regina, Saskatchewan, all his life, except for service in the Canadian Army. Bernard worked for Canadian General Electric for 35 years and made many friends during these working years. He liked sports and was an ardent Roughrider fan. Bernard married his high school sweetheart on October 2, 1948 - and loved his family dearly. He is survived by Teresa, his loving wife of 58 years; his sons, Thomas (Verna), and Roderick; his daughters, Bernice (Robert) Schneider, Linda MacIsaac, and Cecilia MacIsaac-Zerr; his seven cherished grandchildren, Andrea, Gregory and Kimberley Schneider; Derek and Daniel MacIsaac; and Jeffrey and Carly Zerr; his two brothers, Edward (Freda) of Edmonton AB, and Raymond (Alice) of Abbotsford BC; as well as many nieces and nephews. Bernard was predeceased by his father Hugh Daniel MacIsaac (1965); his mother Mary Frances (1974); his sister Kathryn Freeman (2002); and son-in-law Michael Zerr (1995). A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Family R.C. Church, 1021 McCarthy Blvd. N., Regina SK at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2007 with Rev. Brad Fahlman presiding. The family would like to thank all the compassionate staff from the Cancer Clinic and Palliative Care Unit for making Bernards last days so comfortable. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina Sk S4P 2R3 or to a charity of choice.
