Obituary of Diane DARNEL

DARNEL - On March 23, 2007 Diane Darnel (nee Statz) passed away peacefully at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, Regina, at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her two sisters: Milly Bourdeau (Harry) and Janet Blazeiko; several nieces and nephews, and friends. Diane was predeceased by her husband Bond; parents Walter and Mary Statz; sisters, Nel Aichele and Ann Blazeiko; her brothers, John, Nick, Peter and Howard Statz. The family would like to thank the compassionate staff at the Regina General Hospital and the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre for their amazing care. The Prayer Vigil will be held Monday, March 26, 2007 at 8:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 27 at 4:00 p.m. in St. Peters R. C. Church, 100 Argyle Street, Regina with Rev. John-Baptist Okai presiding. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens.
