Obituary of Kenneth William Plante

PLANTE_Kenneth William. June 17, 1938 April 1, 2007. It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father, Ken Plante, at the age of 68. Ken is predeceased by his parents Henry and Bertha Plante, brother Edward Plante, and daughter Donna. Left to mourn are his children Denise (Monty) Shillingford, Balgonie, Sk.; Diana (Philip) Crampton, Lumsden Beach, Sk.; Darla (Michael) Carr, Fort McMurray, AB.; Ken Plante Jr. (Sherri Deis), Regina, Sk.; his grandchildren Christopher, Aaron, Jordan, Olivia and William; partner Lauretta Lane; sisters Dorothy Plante, Sr. Monica Plante; brothers Lawrence (Anne) Plante, Victor (Doreen) Plante as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Ken will forever be remembered for his quick smile, his quirky sense of humour, and his passion for everything he believed in, especially the game of hockey.
