Obituary of Xiu Zhen Yu

Chen Yu Xiu Zhen Xiu Zhen was born in Toi Shan, China in 1925. She became a widow at a young age, raising three young children on her own, Ching Hsia Yu (Yee On), Qui Nam Chen (King Yee), and Qiao Xia Zhu (Tian Run) and their children. She came to Canada in 1985 where she found joy in babysitting her grandkids. She is known for her warm smile and a gentle heart. She went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2007. Left to cherish her memory are her children; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation for family and friends will be held TONIGHT (Thursday) from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Interment will be held in Riverside Memorial Park.
