Obituary of Hazel Babcock

BABCOCK - On Monday, April 23rd, 2007 at 8:30 a.m., surrounded by her loving family, Hazel Babcock passed away peacefully at the age of 81. Predeceased by her parents, Jack and Mary Ellen Dickie; one son, Raymond; one daughter-in-law, Lynn; four brothers: Bob (Lavica), Gordon (Cecelia), Harry (Ivy), and Tom; seven sisters: Eva (Dave) McKinnon, Mable (Alf) Dunn, Mary (Gurvin) Foss, Margaret (Rolland) Pollock, Pearl (Roy) Pollock, Clara (Bill) Sutherland, Amy (Walter) Seabrook; sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Shirley, Annie, Marti; brothers-in-law, Howard, Jack, Bill. Hazel is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ron; son, Albert (Phyllis); five grandsons, Kerry (Patti), Ryan (Jen), Trevor (Jackie), Brent (Voni), Steven (Dinnette); great-grandchildren: Michelle, Myles, Ron, Kayla, Kendal, Kianna, Wyatt, Megan and Amber; sisters-in-law, Dora, Joyce, Rose; brothers-in-law, Gordon, Lawrence, Dwayne; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fillmore Health Centre, Fillmore, SK S0G 1N0. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Andrews United Church, Creelman, SK with Rev. Heather Lea officiating. Interment in Golden Gates Cemetery, Creelman, SK.
