Obituary of James Nixon

Nixon, James (Jim) of Regina passed away on Monday, April 30, 2007 at the age of 91 years with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Nixon, his twin sister Edna Clarke, brothers-in-law Colin Clarke, Ken Lee, Roger Nefstead and nephew, David Lee. Jim is survived by his loving wife Dorothy (nee Warwick) of 61 years, daughter Marilyn of Austin, Texas, son Bob (Drina), grandson Duncan and granddaughter Andrina, all of Calgary Alberta, his sister Margaret Nefstead, brother Gordon (Irene) Nixon, sister Gwen Lee, all of Outlook, Saskatchewan as well as several nieces and nephews. The family wants to express their sincere gratitude to all the staff of the West Wing at Sunset Extendicare for providing excellent care for Jim over the past 4 years. We also want to thank Mark and Brenda Crawford, Viola Crawford and Marg Dean for their ongoing support. A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced later in June when all the family will be able to attend. A full obituary notice will follow.
