Obituary of Ruth Margaret MacKinnon

MacKINNON, Ruth - The MacKinnon family, with heavy hearts, announces the passing of our matron, Ruth. She has been reunited with her beloved husband Red; brother Calvin; and her mom and dad. The memory of Ruth continues to be cherished by her sisters Joyce, Joan, and Fay; children Richard, Chuck, Maizie, and Donald; grandchildren Jennifer, Krissten, Cathy, James, Clayton, Bradley, Joshua, and Katelyn; in-laws Evelyn, Robert and Pamela; and her great-grandson Liam. Ruth had a kind, caring demeanor that affected everyone she encountered including numerous friends and family members. Ruth leaves behind a legacy of love for all who knew her. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, May 18, 2007 from 6:00 " 8:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2007 in St Nicholas Anglican Church, Kennel District. Interment in Kennel District Cemetery.
