Obituary of Eli Tater

TATER - Eli Tater, late of Regina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by his parents Constantine and Eugenia; his step-father Fred Ast; sister Melva Ostrom and sister Joan Axford. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Gladys, and son Gary of St. Albert, AB; sister Rose Horn of Regina, brother Sam (Dolly) Tater of Nanaimo, BC, brother Don (Barbara) Ast of Edmonton, AB, sister Helen (Frank) Bub of Vancouver, BC, sister Mary Harrington of Ottawa, ON, brother-in-law Don Axford of West Vancouver, BC and many nieces and nephews. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, May 28, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 190 Massey Road with Rev. Jeff Tank presiding. Private family interment at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
