Obituary of Bertha Marguerite Wilson

WILSON " Bertha Marguerite (nee Breton) May 28, 1918 " May 27, 2007 Bertha passed away peacefully in Regina on Sunday, May 27, 2007, having the chance to celebrate her 89th birthday with many loving family and friends. Bertha was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, Norman; infant daughter, Carol Elizabeth; her parents Adolfe and Marie Louise Breton, formerly of Montmartre; brothers, Marcel, Oliver, Louis, Eugene, George and Phil; sisters, Cecile Sauve (Montmartre), Angeline Gullett (Indiana, USA), and Rolanda Girardin (Saskatoon). Bertha is survived by her loving, cherished, son Lloyd; sisters-in-law Delores (Omaha, USA), Carol (Hague, SK), Mabel Hinton (Wolseley); and many caring and loving nieces and nephews in Canada, USA and England. She will be living in the memory of some wonderful friends Rena and Richard, Kelly and Warren; her soul-mate and friend Helen; and also the Ladies of the Morning Coffee group. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the St. Cecilia Memorial Fund or charities of your choice. The family wishes to express appreciation to the wonderful staff in the Palliative Care Unit at Pasqua Hospital whose kindness and compassion helped make Berthas last days comfortable and with whom Bertha was able to share some nice conversations and enjoyed laughter. Berthas zest for life, wonderful sense of humour and profound kindness has given much happiness to many. Although Bertha will be greatly missed, her memory will live on in the lives of all her family and friends whom she loved so very much. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Cecilias R. C. Church, 5020 " 7th Avenue, Regina with Rev. J. B. Okai presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
