THOMAS COSTRON August 8, 1923 March 1, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas Costron announce his peaceful passing on Thursday, March 1, 2012 in Regina at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by his wife Liostina; parents George and Regina Costron; son George Costron; grandson Trevor Costron; sisters Irene Marion, Eva Delnea and Alice Deck; brothers Paul Costron, George Costron and John Costron. He is survived by his sons Clifford Costron and Dennis (Mary Ann) Costron; daughter Linda (Donald) OConnor; daughter-in-law Marianne Costron; sisters Mary Binfet, Kay Harker and Vera Sharples; grandchildren Allison (Shane) Bachmeier, Sara Costron, Carolyn (Michael) Stefani, Jonathan OConnor (Andrea Stengler), Stephanie Costron and Jesse Costron; great-grandchildren Bailey Stefani and Brianne Stefani; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Thomas worked for Sask Power for many years and after retirement he commuted between Regina and Kayville, living his life-long passion for farming. A special thanks to the attending physicians and a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff of the William Booth Special Care Home. Prayers will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 2005 Edgar Street on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Cosmin Sicoe and Very Rev. Fr. Daniel Nenson presiding. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memoriam to St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 2005 Edgar Street, Regina, SK, S4N 3K5.
