Obituary of Margaret Jane Stade
STADE - Margaret Jane (Stephenson), passed away peacefully on Friday evening, Nov. 4, 2005, at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband, Rev. Armand Stade, parents Jim and Anne Stephenson, sister Grace (Tom) MacDonald. Margaret is survived by her brother J. N. (Jim) Stephenson (Ollie), Regina; her daughters Joan (David) Banks, Calgary, AB, Mary (Marvin) McInnis, Kingston, ON, Anne (Roger) Ingles, North Richmond Hills, Texas; seven grandchildren: Tom (Mary Lou) Banks, Janice (David) Loukras, Warren (Tara) Banks, Meg (Chuck) Creighton, Allison (David) Patterson, Heather (Paul) Jardine, Jane, Mary and David Ingles; ten great grandchildren: Daniel, Adam and Michael Banks, Jennifer and Erin Loukras, Ethan and Ella Banks, Disa and Jonathon Creighton, David Patterson. Margaret maintained close relationships with her nieces and nephews, and their families, on both the Stephenson and Stade side of the family. Margaret was born in Toronto on December 21, 1912 and raised in Shaunavon, Sk. She attended Normal School in Moose Jaw 1930/31 and taught for six years before her marriage to Armand. She had an interesting and active life as the "ministers wife in Milden, Creelman, Fillmore and Regina. She very much appreciated the support of her extended family, Lakeview U.C. friends and her O.E.S. sisters and brothers. A special thanks to the V.I.P. Personal Care Home for their exceptional kindness and care in the last two years. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview United Church, 3200 McCallum Avenue.
