Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Hanowski

Margaret Elizabeth Hanowski Margaret passed away peacefully at Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home, Regina, on Saturday, March 03, 2012 at 98 years of age. She was born near Grayson, Saskatchewan on March 26, 1913 to Joseph and Anna (Holitzki) Stradecki, the fourth of thirteen children of whom two died in infancy. She was predeceased by her husband Zacharias; her parents; sisters: Anna, Sophie, Marion, Evelyn and Antonia and brothers: Joseph and Eugene. To cherish her memory are her sons: Arvey (Laura) and Lorne (Dianne), five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren: Geoffrey (Lorraine) and their son Thomas; Bradley (Hanna) and their sons Zach and Jacob; Susan (Chris) and their children Alexandra, Samuel, and Kathryn; Dana (E.J.) and their children Brynn, Logan and Sage; and Dale (Tammi) and their children Blake and Avery; sisters Pauline and Barbara and brother John. Margaret dearly loved her family, relatives and friends about whom she often enquired. She had a deep and active faith demonstrated by her frequent participation in Mass and the Eucharist and recitation of the rosary many times daily. She will be buried with her husband in St. Theresas Cemetery, Rutland, B.C. on August 25, 2012.
