Obituary of Daniel William (Bill) McFarlane

McFARLANE, DANIEL WILLIAM (BILL) On Wednesday, November 9, 2005, Bill McFarlane of Regina, SK went to be with his Lord. He was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Mary McFarlane; brothers Charlie and Joe Deagnon; sister Adeline Fuessel; daughter Alice; son-in-law Norm Kent. Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gertie; sister Aimee Crooks; children, John (Cath) of Winnipeg, Gord (Gwen) of Calgary, Deb (Doug Runtz) of Regina, Liz (Ron Cormier) of Fort McMurray, Karen (Al Hoeft) of Winnipeg, Dan (Roberta) of Langham; fifteen grandchildren, Chris, Carrie, Krys (Gene Ouellette), Trish (Brent Timmerman), Jacquie, Matt, Travis, Anja, Michelle, Alyssa, Dayna, Zachary, Nathanael, Aidan, Ethan; two great-grandchildren, Kaytlynn and Mark. Born March 21, 1928, Bill was raised near Zehner, SK going to Ravenswood School. Since 1955 he and Gertie lived mainly in Regina raising their children and serving their Lord through their church. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in The Salvation Army Downtown Community Church, 2012 McIntyre Street, Regina with Captain Denise Walker officiating.
