Obituary of Doris Evelyne Johnson

JOHNSON - In memory of Doris Evelyne Johnson, who peacefully passed away at her Regina home on November 29, 2005 at the age of 89 years. Doris, born November 10, 1916 at Englefeld, SK, was the fourth of thirteen children, born to Henry Charles Neighbour and Evelyne Smith. Doris married Lyle Thomas "Bud Johnson in 1938 at Tisdale, SK. Bud passed away in 1992. She is survived by her son Morley (Ruth) of Regina; daughters Janice (Murray Smith) of Saskatoon, June Hughes (Bill Newham of Victoria, BC and Donna (Gerrard Robert) of Richmond, BC; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elsie (Nate Shachter) of Moose Jaw, Margaret Patterson of Moose Jaw and Frances (Charles MacKenzie) of Outlook; and several nieces and nephews. The family gratefully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice. The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. in St. James Anglican Church, 1105 Empress Street with Rev. Joyce Hilton officiating.
