Obituary of Dorina Rosa Wickenheiser

DOREEN ROSA WICKENHEISER (nee LATURNUS) Doreen, late of Regina, SK, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012. She was born March 14, 1930 in Rosefield, SK. The family moved to McLean, SK when she was very young and she spent her early years on the farm. Doreen married Edward Wickenheiser in 1954 and they lived in Regina where she worked in the dry cleaning business for many years. Upon retirement, she and Ed moved briefly to BC but soon returned to Regina. She was an avid boater and fisherman. Doreen was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Melunia (Glas) Laturnus; brother George; sister Jeanette and husband Edward. She is survived by her brother Jim (Bev) Laturnus of Chilliwack, BC; sister Emilia Keck of Regina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with reception to follow. Flowers are gratefully declined.
