Obituary of Cecil Kenneth Hodge

HODGE, CECIL KENNETH, WWII VETERAN It is with sadness that the family of Cecil Kenneth Hodge announce his passing on Tuesday, December 20, 2005. Cecil was born on July 13, 1922 in Carnduff, SK and attended school in Carievale, SK. He served in the R.C.A.F. from 1942 to 1945. He married his school girl sweetheart, Clara on December 22, 1945. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Clara and children, Bonnie (Tom), Murray (Pat) and Marsha (Barrie); grandchildren: Dean, Colin, Kyle, Ryan, Terri, Steven, and Dana; great-grandchildren: Taylor, Dawson, Kailen, Jacey, Vanessa, and Tyson; two brothers, Harvey (Florence), Gordon (Marianne); one sister Ruby; former daughter-in-law Rita (Brian), and his devoted dog Pebbles; as well as many nieces and nephews. Cecil was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Irene Hodge; brothers Stan and Henry and spouses. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 23, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Interment will be at Carnduff Cemetery at a later date.
