Obituary of Donald James MacIntosh

MacINTOSH, Donald James. Born in Saskatoon, SK on November 5 1922, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2005 with his family at his side. Predeceased by his parents James and Ruby MacIntosh, sister and brother in infancy, sister-in-law Rose MacIntosh and brother-in-law Boyd Rodda. Don is survived by Mary, his loving wife of 60 years; daughter Donna (Regina); son Robert (Theresa) of Vancouver; three dearly loved grandchildren, Michelle and Jeffery Sweitzer of Regina and Craig Sweitzer of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sisters Peggy Rodda and Jean (Lorne) Atchison; brothers Doug (Wyn), Kenneth G., and James (Vivian); Marys family, Don McCorkindale (California), Mrs. H. D. Thomas of Regina, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who were all very dear to him. Funeral Service will be held at St. Pauls Anglican Cathedral, 1861 McIntyre Street, Regina at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, 23 December 2005, Dean James Merrett officiating. The family greatly appreciate the presence and support of Dean James Merrett at Dons bedside at the end. We also deeply appreciate the wonderful care and compassion of the nurses and doctors on 5F and the CCU at the General Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Pauls Building in Faith Fund, 1861 McIntyre Street, Regina S4P 2R2 or a charity of choice.
