Obituary of Milo Leroy Nederhoff

NEDERHOFF, MILO SEPTEMBER 5, 1921 - DECEMBER 28, 2005 Milo passed away peacefully in Regina, Wednesday, December 28, 2005, aged 84 years. Lifelong resident and farmer in Rouleau area, Milo farmed from an early age, first with his father, John, then his brother Orville and lastly his son Jack. Predeceased by his parents John and Minnie, sisters, Myra Clarke, Eleanor Clarke, Marjorie Krauss and brother Orville. Survived by his wife Gladys, son Jack (Lydia), daughter Linda (Gerry) Simington of Medicine Hat, AB as well as grandchildren Ellis Nederhoff, Alexis Nederhoff, Geoffrey Mayo and Tyler Mayo. Also survived by his sister Norma Clarke of Rouleau. Milo lived his entire life first on the homestead and later on the farm near Moose Jaw Creek, at Rouleau. He retired from farming and lived at the Rouleau Manor then moved to Regina, first to Marion Chateau then later to Helping Hands Personal Care Home. Upon his death Milo was living at Santa Maria. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in Regina Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan Inc., #301 - 2550 - 12th Avenue, Regina S4P 3X1 or a charity of choice. Milo had a wonderful sense of humor and loved visiting with his friends and family. In his earlier years he enjoyed working with horses and this love of horses and livestock continued throughout his whole life.
