Obituary of Henry Adolf Donbrook

Donbrook, Henry A. passed away peacefully on December 28, 2005. He often said he had lived a wonderful life. He was born in Regina on August 5, 1912 and was a proud lifetime resident of Regina and he loved the area. He worked for over 30 years at the Regina Transit System. Always interested in new experiences, Henry enjoyed traveling. He and Winnie visited much of Asia and South America. Strong and vigorous, he loved to hunt and sail, and he got great satisfaction from building two homes, a cottage and two sailboats. Henry was predeceased by his wife Winnifred. He is survived by daughter Merla Beckerman (Jerry), son Brian Donbrook (Beverley), grandchildren Michelle Borden (Warren), Michael Beckerman (Laurie), Leslie Buchanan (John), Douglas Donbrook (Andra), Christine Binda (Carlo). Eight great grandchildren also survive him as does his sister Betty Gropp and family. At Henrys request there will be no funeral service. Donations may be made in his remembrance to the WA WA Shrine Patient Travel Fund, 2065 Hamilton Street, Regina S4P 2E1 or a charity of your choice.
