He leaves behind to cherish his memories, the love of his life of forty-seven years, Eva, and their three children - Debra (Byron) Manastyrski of Calgary, Dawn (Blair) Johnson of Regina and Rob (Angie) of Wilcox; seven grandchildren; Jaryd and Krista Manastyrski, Cody, Andrea and Luke Johnson, and Jillian and Jennifer Evans. Bob will be greatly missed by his brother Evan (Dorothy); sisters, Louise Hogg (Herb) and Iris Perrault (Erwin); sister-in-law Yvonne Evans; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their loving families. Bob was predeceased by his parents Frank and Ella; brother Jim and sister Alwyn Needham of Alberta. Bob spent over twenty-six years with the RCMP retiring in 1977. Half of his service was in the riding section with five tours on the RCMP Musical Ride and nine years as a riding instructor. He was a member of the Wa Wa Shrine since 1965 and was in the Drill Corps unit acting as Lieutenant for many years. He was past president and member of Sherwood Forest Country Club where he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Bob spent many hours enjoying his love of music playing his many instruments including the autoharp and harmonica. Bob and Eva spent many hours kicking up their heels on the dance floor with their great friends and enjoyed their many travels throughout the world together. Dad, your encouragement, guidance and love are only some of the greatest gifts you have given all of us. You will be greatly missed. Thank you to all his friends, Dr. Shawush and the very special nurses on 5A that took such wonderful care of Bob and helped the family through this difficult time.
