Obituary of Marion Elizabeth Gropp
GROPP - On Wednesday, January 11, 2006 in the loving care of her family Marion Gropp of Regina passed away at the age of 97. Predeceased by her husband, Bernard in 1972; her son Arthur in 1988; brothers Frank and Albert Bartle; sisters Eva Bartle and Mary Debert. Survived by daughters Betty, Dora and Beatrice Gropp of Regina, Angeline (Gerald) Dixon of Sidney B.C., Julie (Charles) Van Dusen of Regina and son John (Jan) Gropp of Calgary; eight grandchildren Tracy, Karen, Laurie, Anissa, Jeromy, Brett, Katherine and Michael; six great- grandchildren Ben, Kaylee, Jasmine, Erica, Lia, Alexa and her sisters-in-law plus many nieces and nephews. Marion lived a long and fulfilling life that was centered on her family and her deep faith. Her loving, generous and creative nature is sadly missed. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 3239 Garnet Street with Rev. Anthony F. Dizy presiding. Later a private family interment will be held in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers are gratefully declined.
