Obituary of John Genswein

GENSWEIN - On Monday, January 16, 2006, John Genswein passed away at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by his wife, Mary; his parents, Martin and Francis; two brothers, Martin and Joseph; three sisters, Eva, Agnes, and Katie. John is survived by two sons, Bernard (Karen) and their children, Ryan and Amanda; Robert; sister, Mary Mertens; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John was with the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1940 - 1948 working in the Canadian Volunteer Service. He worked for Canada Post, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans and the DVA. John was a very devout Catholic. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2006 at 12 noon in Blessed Sacrament R. C. Church, 2049 Scarth Street, Regina with Rev. Emmett Morrissey presiding.
