Obituary of Anton Kedves

KEDVES - Tony Kedves passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at the age of 72. Tony was born on February 17, 1933 in Csobanka, Hungary. At 12 years of age, he and his family moved to Germany where they lived in a castle called Schlos Taxis, near Dischingen. At the age of 20, he immigrated to Canada and eventually settled in Regina. Tony retired after thirty-three years of service with the Regina Transit System. Left to mourn is his wife Ruth; their three children, Kelvin (Alice) of Ladysmith, BC, Brian and Sandra of Regina; as well as five grandchildren, David, Aaron, Evan, Sarah and Luke; also a sister Rosa Engler in Germany. Tony was predeceased by his parents Anton and Anna Kedves of Germany, brothers Joseph and Frank of Germany and Albert of Drumheller, AB. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Major Peter Eason of the Salvation Army officiating. Interment in Regina Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
