Obituary of Edythe Luella Renwick

RENWICK- Edythe Luella Renwick, age 88 years of Saskatoon and formerly of Regina and Milestone, passed away after a brief illness in Saskatoon City Hospital on Tuesday, January 31, 2006. A Service of Remembrance will be held in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Friday, February 3, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. Edythe was predeceased by her husband James Renwick; her mother Elsie Smith (Charlton); her father Clifford Smith; and son-in-law Grant Weeks; as well as numerous sisters and brothers-in-law. She is lovingly mourned by her son Blaine (Ila) Renwick; daughter Karen Weeks; grandchildren Colleen (Kevin), Jeff (Lisa), Benton and Garner (Carolyn); great-grandchildren, Casey and Thea; brother, Sid (Lyda) Smith; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Edythe grew up and attended school in Milestone. She married James Renwick and they farmed west of Milestone until James passing. Edythe moved to Regina in 1980 and created a satisfying life, meeting new friends. She enjoyed taking various classes, traveling and pursuing her painting interests.
