Obituary of Wilmer Jefferson Pettit

PETTIT, Wilmer Jefferson It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our husband, dad and grandpa. Born on September 20, 1931, he passed away on February 1, 2006, at the age of 74. Wilmer will be loved always and missed greatly by wife Norma (nee Gable); mother Mary (Hearonemus); children and their spouses Deborah and Don (Robinson), Terri and Jeff (Tank), Tracy and Dominique (Sarny) and Ray and Maria; grandchildren Melissa, Rachael, Leah, Lucas, Sarah and Amlie; great-grandson Rory; as well as many dear friends and relatives. He was predeceased by father Samuel Leslie Pettit; sister Bernice (Lytle); and grandson Ryan (Netzel). Wilmer was an avid gardener, great dancer, sports enthusiast and longtime Roughrider ticket holder (34 years). His career as an accountant (CMA) took him from Saskatchewan Health, to BC Health, back to Saskatchewan, where he retired from SAHO in 1986. Wilmer we love you and will miss you forever. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Pastor Craig Moeller officiating. Flowers gratefully declined.
