MATZ, Adeline
Adeline passed away in Regina, SK, on Thursday, February 2, 2006. Adeline was born February 7, 1931 at Lampman, SK, youngest of eleven children born to Ralph and Magdalena (Dillman) Matz. Adeline grew up on the family farm and with her parents she moved to Estevan, SK. Adeline shared the family home until 1983, when her mother passed away. Adeline worked as a sales clerk, a florist, and eventually owned and operated KD Florists until she moved to Regina where she purchased a home and worked in sales until her retirement. Adeline was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Magdalena; brothers, Joseph, Peter, and Roy; sisters, Monica (Sebastian) Gress and Rose (William) Matthews; brothers-in-law, Theodore Nestibo, Sigurd Nestibo, Pardy Cooper, William Matthews, Andrew Klein, and Wesley Wilson; sister-in-law, Della (Peter) Matz; nieces, Donna Gress, Jean (Jim) Kryschuk, and Carol (John) Scott; nephew, Wayne Gress; and great-niece, Brenda Matz. Adeline is survived and is lovingly remembered by sisters, Anne (Pardy) Cooper of Toronto, ON; Catherine (Sigurd) Nestibo and Margaret (Theodore) Nestibo of Deloraine, MB; Lena (Andrew) Klein of Estevan, SK; Pauline (Wesley) Wilson of Regina, SK; sister-in-law Annie (Roy) Matz of Steelman, SK; the families of thirty-four nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and cherished friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, February 6, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at 12 noon in Blessed Sacrament R. C. Church, 2049 Scarth Street, Regina, SK with Rev. E. Morrissey, celebrant. Interment will follow on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at 4:30 p.m. in the Souris Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Estevan, SK with Rev. Lorne Crozon officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to William Booth Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK S4R 8P6.
