Obituary of Theodor Paul Keuler

KEULER - Theodor Paul - It is with great sadness and loving memories we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Theo on February 3, 2006 at the age of 83 years. Theo was predeceased by his parents Jakob and Sophie; brother Wilhelm; sisters, Maria and Erwinne; brothers-in-law, Joseph, Leonard, Helmut and Stefan. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of fifty-six years, Anna; four children, Ruth (Craig) Powell, Horst, Anneliese (Dave) McGill and Mary (Dan) McGill; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by family in Germany, his sister Marta; nephew Roland; his in-laws, Elfriede, Mitzi, Johanna and Herb, Liesel, Hans and Ruth and their families. He served in the German Army and was a prisoner of war in Siberia for three years. Theo and his wife Anna, children, Ruth and Horst, immigrated to Canada in 1954. Anneliese and Mary were born in Canada. He worked at the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool, Robert Simpson and the Cornwall Centre prior to retiring in 1988. He enjoyed soccer, music, Moms cooking, visits from his grandchildren and his dogs, Max and Peanuts. A Service of Remembrance will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, with Rev. Dennis Fingas officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
