Obituary of Brian Edison Savage

BRIAN EDISON SAVAGE Brian, born November 26, 1949, passed away in the presence of his family, after a lengthy illness, on Friday, March 16, 2012. He was predeceased by his parents; Bob and Doris; and his brother Allan. Brian is survived by the love of his life, his wife Lynne; his daughters and families; Carol-Lynn (Dwain: Alexa, Jacob and Kailyn); Laura (Jeremy: Paige and Dawson); and sister Debbie Matt (Dale). Also left to mourn, are Lynnes nine brothers and sisters and their families. He spent many years with The Canadian Armed Forces as an Air Frame Technician, travelling with his family all across Canada. After retiring from the forces, Brian developed and taught the Welding Program at SIAST Regina Campus, where he finished his career. Brian was an avid golfer and loved spending his winters at the rink with his famous cowbell cheering on his daughters ringette teams. His wife and family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the many friends and family who provided much love and support as well as Dr. Johnson and the wonderful caring staff at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice. An informal gathering to Celebrate Brians Life will be held at the Victoria Club, 1300 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Friends so wishing may make a donation, in Brians memory to Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, S4R 8P6.
