Obituary of Jean Doreen Softley

SOFTLEY - On Sunday, February 12, 2006, JEAN D. SOFTLEY, late of Regina, passed away at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by her parents, John and Jean Stephens; her husband Claude in 1970; son Richard in 1999; and fifteen brothers and sisters. Jean is survived by her sons, Harry (Laura) of Regina and Stanley (Rosanne) of Provo, Utah; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. Jean had worked at SGI for 18 years prior to her retirement. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed her travels in U.S.A., Canada and abroad. Interment of Jeans ashes will take place at Riverside Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.
