Obituary of Thomas Anthony Allen

ALLEN - Thomas Anthony Allen, late of Regina, SK, passed away Monday, February 13, 2006, at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by one infant daughter Cindy May, his parents Harold and Grace; brother David and sister Marion Ahier, Thomas is survived by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Shirley (nee King); sister Virginia Wilcox of Victoria, BC; son Mel (Pat), grandchildren, Dustin, Brent, Lindsay and great grandson Mathew; daughter Sherilyn (Tom) Templeton, grandchildren Brian, Jeff and great granddaughter Mya; son Don (Gayleen), grandchildren Jordan, Kurtis, Randi-Lee, Shane and Kaitlyn; daughter Doris (Ron) Burdon, grandchildren Melissa and Nichole. Tom was born in Rouleau, Saskatchewan, June 12, 1922. He served three years overseas during World War II with the Governor Generals Footguards. Tom returned home to Drinkwater, SK to continue his career in trucking and farming until the late 1970s. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the cottage on Katepwa Lake and travelling with Shirley. Memorial service will be held Friday, February 17, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in Rosemont United Church 5000 - 8th Avenue, Regina, with Rev. Marjorie Kent officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
