Obituary of Inno Winnifred Doherty

DOHERTY (Belbin) Rita passed peacefully away at the age of 74 with her family by her side on Thursday, February 16, 2006 in Regina, SK, formerly of St. Johns, NL. Predeceased by her parents Vida and Sydney Belbin and sister Ivy. Left to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 55 years, Jim; her children, David (Dorothy), Fred (Karen), Kathleen Currie (Charlie), Betty Smith (Larry), Nora Doherty; her grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Liam, Geoffrey, Lacey and Chelsea; brothers, Irvin and Gerald; sisters, Una Miller and Shirley Rosado. Rita was an ordinary woman filled with grace and dignity. She was a caring and generous person who gave herself completely to others. She has touched many people with her kindness and will be remembered by all. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 20, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. in St. Matthews Anglican Church, 2161 Winnipeg Street, Regina with Chaplain D. Allan Higgs officiating.
