Obituary of Benson Henry Guest
GUEST - Benson Henry, born December 30, 1909, passed away February 24, 2006. Ben was predeceased by his wife Margaret on May 7, 2003 after more than sixty years of marriage, his parents George and Martha (Berryhill), brothers Gordon and Harold, sisters Marjorie and Dorothy. Ben is survived by sons Graydon and his wife Lori LaRose-Guest of Victoria, BC, Richard and his wife Charlene of Regina, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family would like to express special appreciation to Dads sister-in-law Kay Watt, and family friend Edie Foster. Our gratitude goes out to the staff of the Pasqua Hospital, Regina Palliative Care Inc., Dr. Duffy, Dr. Alam, staff and residents of Westhill Manor, and recent support by the staff of We Care home health services. Dad was a high school teacher at Scott Collegiate in Regina for twenty-four years. Previous to his military service during World War II, he taught for several years in various Saskatchewan locations. Dad was extremely dedicated to his family, and was an ideal role model because of his moral character and modesty. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Benson Guest to any charitable organization.
