Obituary of Elizabeth Voelpel

VOELPEL - Elizabeth (nee Maier), late of Regina, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2006. Born February 26, 1909, Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents John and Theresia Maier; husband John; daughter Helen, in infancy; daughter-in-law Lila and son-in-law Ernie; brothers, Ferdinand, Axel, John, Louis and Simon; sisters, Alfrieda, in infancy, Karolina, Emma and Frieda. Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by her son Raymond; daughter Davene; grandchildren, Liane (Robert), Greg (Gwen), Madison, Lana and Jason (Cheri); great grandchildren, Jessica, Adam, Brandon and Andrew; sisters, Ludwika Orb, Bertha Voelpel and Regina Orb. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, with Pastor Lindsay Hognestad officiating.
