Obituary of Daniel Robert Jansson

JANSSON - Daniel Robert Jansson, 1952 - 2006, passed away unexpectedly in Regina on March 27, 2006. Danny was born in Victoria Hospital, Prince Albert, and attended school in Canwood. After graduation he attended the University of Saskatchewan obtaining a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Arts and Sciences. His specialization was Community Development. He was employed for a number of years in the Rural Planning and Development Branch of the Department of Agriculture, Government of Saskatchewan. Danny resided in Regina for the last 15 years. He lived according to his fathers philosophy "Not only is honesty the best policy. It is the only policy. He is survived by his beloved mother, Selvie Viklund of Caleb Manor, Saskatoon; his brother Rolf (Sonjay) Jansson of Saskatoon; his brother Erland (Eraine) Jansson of Regina; three nieces and two nephews. He was predeceased by his father Carl Jansson; his grandparents; two uncles and an aunt; and his stepfather John Viklund, all of Canwood. Memorial Service to be held at Caleb Manor, 1622B Acadia Drive, Saskatoon. Further arrangements pending. Interment in Canwood North Cemetery at a later date.
