Obituary of Nettie Frances Kaytor

NETTIE FRANCES KAYTOR (nee Prebushewski) March 23, 1939 May 12, 2013 It is with saddened hearts that the family announces the death of their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Sunday, May 12, 2013. Nettie was born in Humboldt, SK, the youngest child of Nicklos and Alice Prebushewski. She moved to Regina in 1965 and held many positions in the service industry. Nettie will be remembered as a hard worker, loyal friend and a person who lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed family gatherings, dancing, music, playing cards, gardening and sports. Nettie was predeceased by her parents; infant son Lawrence; brothers, Walter, Tony, Steve, Adel, Henry, Victor and Joe; and sisters, Mary and Pauline. Left to honour her memory are her two sisters, Olga and Elizabeth; daughter Marlene (Keith); sons, Kenneth (Brenda), Robert, and Dennis (Jill); grandchildren Candace, Calvin, Jerome, Brandon (Darlynn), Jennifer, and Aaron (Megan); great-grandson Skyler; as well as numerous relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to give thanks to Netties special caregivers at the Regina Lutheran Home for their care over the past six years. Nettie was a very loving and caring person to all that she knew and will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew her best. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memoriam, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2H8.
