Obituary of Robert Allan Pinches

PINCHES - Robert Allan (Bob) of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2006 at the age of 80 years with his family at his side. Predeceased by his brothers George, William, Leonard and Jack and sisters, Gladys, Mary and Dorothy. Bob is survived by his wife of 56 years, Flo (Large) and his daughters and (grandchildren), Joan; Carol & Darryl Rachul (Michael and Christen), Edmonton; Cathy & Ron Shaw (Christopher and David); Sheila & Ron Coutts (Petra, Greg and Ryan); and Sandy & Leo Verhelst (Derek and Corey), all of Regina. Also survived by brother Gordon (Jessie), Lethbridge and sister Margaret (Rupert) Murdoch, Guelph and sisters-in-law, Kay Swallow, Mary Heil, Joyce Large and Beth (Johnny) Lawson and many nieces and nephews. Bob served in the army during World War II, was a plasterer by trade and retired from the Regina School Board in 1988. Bob and Flo spent many summers at Katepwa Lake where he enjoyed a good game of golf and time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Westminster United Church, 3025 - 13th Avenue, Regina, with Rev. A. Schooley officiating.
