Obituary of Barbara Zurowski

ZUROWSKI - On Saturday April 8, 2006, Mrs. Barbara Zurowski (Ferner), passed away peacefully at the age of 91 at the Lumsden Heritage Home. Barbara was predeceased by her husband John Ferdinand Zurowski, her parents Gottfried and Isabelle and brothers Peter Paul in infancy, Peter, Godfrey, Paul, Arnold, Norbert, Edwin and her sisters Magdelena and Katherine. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Leo and Alois and sisters Doreen (Dan) and Celestine, a special niece Rhonda (Doug) Kellsey, special great niece Amanda and special great nephew Ryan as well as several other nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Southey, Sask. on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 10:30 am with Rev. Gary Lindenbach officiating. Interment in Southey Cemetery. Barbara lived most of her life in Southey where she worked alongside Johnny on the farm. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening. She moved to Regina in April 1994. Flowers gratefully declined.
