Obituary of Lois Irene Adams

ADAMS - Lois Irene, born in Carsland, AB on September 28, 1925 passed away April 25, 2006 at the age of 80 with her family by her side. Lois was predeceased by her parents Holger and Loma Lausen; and her brother Ron Lausen. Lois will be remembered by her dear husband Mickey of 52 years; her son Randall of Kinookimaw; her daughter Sheryll (Randall) Putman of Ropesville, Texas; foster daughter Marie Apostoluk of Langley, BC; her grandchildren Leila Runge (Lorne) of Regina, Jody, Kasey and Lindsey of Ropesville, Texas, Stacey of Langley, BC; her great-grandchildren Jaedin and Kahlen Runge of Regina; sister Wilma (Charlie) Way of Vulcan, AB; sister-in-law Verna Lausen of Strathmore, AB; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; adopted family Jim (Donna) and their children, Andrea and Allyson LeClair (adopted grandchildren) who will always be remembered for their many years of love and support, looking after our parents and grandparents. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts. Thanks to her special friend Mary Duke of Regina and Leilas mother, Donna Runge (Carl) of Edmonton, as well as many other family members and friends who touched her heart. Special thank you to Dr. Barry Lotz who has been more than a doctor to Lois and her family. He has a very special place in our hearts. Special thank you to Units 3B Oncology and Palliative Care at the Pasqua Hospital for their wonderful care and support for Lois and our family. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Chaplain Cliff Geiger officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Lois memory be made to Regina Palliative Care Inc., 3B Oncology Unit, or Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina S4T 1A6.
