Obituary of Katherine Manz

MANZ - Katherine Manz went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2006 at the age of 91. She is survived by 4 children: Herbert (Alvina), Rita Lemon (Bob), Lydia Dagg (Tom), George (Denise), 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces in Germany and the U.S. She was predeceased by her husband, Georg in 1971, an infant daughter Charlotte, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Kathi was born in Bukowina, the former Austrian Empire. The family immigrated to Canada in 1953. For many years she was involved with the Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aid and the choir. God was always the foundation and purpose of her life. She will be remembered for her great hospitality in her younger years. She enjoyed gardening and took particular delight in her grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as the accomplishments of her children. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, at 1909 Ottawa Street in Regina on Friday April 28, 2006 at 2:00. Interment to follow at Regina Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favourite charity.
