Obituary of Verna Irene Ulmer

VERNA IRENE ULMER - Verna passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Pasqua Hospital on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at age 73. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Jerry in 2003; parents, Alvin and Flora Nixon; sister, Freda McIntyre; in-laws, Joe, Lyle, Grace, Gloria, Alex, Roy; and niece, Judy. Verna is survived by her family, Dennis (Debbie), Dale (Rhonda), Douglas (Bernadette), Debby, and David (Shelley); grandchildren, Jeff, Jason (Erin), Jennifer (Quinn), Trevor (Morgan), Trent (Jenn), Craig (Dana), Kyle (Andrea), Harley (Erin), Michalene (Lutu), Devin, Bob (Amy Lee), Amanda (Lanny); and great-grandchildren, Reece, Burke, Morganna and Aiden; step-great-grandchildren, Chris, Cain, Chase and Ashley. Verna also leaves to mourn brother, Martin (Carrie); sisters, Florence, Ruth (Orville), Eleanor (Gerry); in-laws, Melvin, Don (Irene), Eileen (Fred), Ethel (Glenn); and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Bethune Community Hall with Darrell Reine officiating. Interment to follow in Bethune Cemetery.
