Obituary of Josephnie Neumann

NEUMANN, Dorothy - It is with deep sadness the family of Dorothy announces her passing on May 13, 2006 at the age of 79 years. Dorothy was greeted in Heaven by her mom and dad Walburga and Michael Welder, her brother Anthony, mother-in-law and father-in-law Whilamena and Adolf Neumann, and brother-in-law Donald Hobman. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband of forty-nine years Gus and their three daughters, Brenda (Ron), Debbie (Dale), and Denise. Grandma also leaves behind her greatest passion - her grandchildren, Heather, Michael (special friend Jenna), Tracy, Christopher (special friend Rachel), Nicole, Melissa, Brendon, and great-granddaughter Jordan. Dorothy will be remembered by her brothers, Ray (Joan), Ron (Karen), Frank (Hazel), and sisters, Jean (Art), Eleanor (Hank), Rose (Rudy), Lynn (Al), Kay and Mary, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. First and foremost Dorothys time was spent raising her three daughters. Gus and Dorothy had an open door policy whether it was providing a place to stay or just lending a hand. Dorothy worked at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre until her grandchildren began to arrive. She gleamed with pride watching her grandchildren play their many sports. Her eyes would always light up whenever a member of her family was near. We would like to say a special thank you to all the staff at Pioneer Village for taking such good care of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. We will always have you in our hearts; Loved and missed by your family. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Tank officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
