Obituary of Douglas Harold Higgins

HIGGINS - On Wednesday, May 17, 2006 Douglas (Doug) Harold Higgins, late of Regina, passed away at the age of 85 years, loving husband of Elizabeth (Lil) Higgins. Predeceased by his parents, Harold and Lou Higgins; brothers, George of Medicine Hat, Donald of Lethbridge; and sister, Mary Grosch of Vancouver. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Lil; and brother, Jack Higgins of Victoria. Also survived by his wifes family in Ireland, England, Australia and Canada. Doug was in the RCAF stationed in England. This is where he met Lil, the love of his life. Doug was known for his sense of humour, his sportsmanship, and the love of his family. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Flowers gratefully declined.
