Obituary of Amy Gwendoline Mary Bishop

BISHOP, Gwendoline passed peacefully to be with our Lord at Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre on Friday, May 19, 2006 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Reverend Ernest Linton Bishop and her parents. Surviving are her six sons, Barry, step-granddaughter Shauna Leclair, Dr. Neil (Annick), Gregory, Bruce, Brett (Leslie), Garth, and grandchildren Ryan Derksen and Nerissa Bishop. Mother will always be remembered for her love of family, her joy of teaching music, her commitment to the Christian faith, her tenacity and her welcoming smile. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks for the compassionate care from the staff at Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre in Saskatoon. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre, 2200 St. Henry Avenue, Saskatoon, SK S7M 0P5 or to the Grand Coulee United Church, Box 69, Site 200, RR II, Regina, SK S4P 2Z2. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2006 from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. The funeral service will be held in Speers Funeral Chapel, on Thursday, May 25 at 1:30 p.m. The service will be conducted by Rev. C. Lind Barbour. Interment at Riverside Memorial Park to follow the service.
