Obituary of Ralph Brian Baynes

BAYNES, Ralph Brian Joseph - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved brother and uncle on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at the age of 49 years. Ralph was born on November 8, 1956 in Regina, SK., attended school in Regina Beach and Lumsden. Ralph had numerous opportunities to pursue a career elsewhere, but chose to stay with family and friends and worked as a contractor. Ralph was a quiet, humble man who loved and was loved by family and friends. From an early age Ralph had been fond of animals. His peaceful and trusting presence attracted many animal companions throughout his life. Celebrating holidays and special occasions with family was important in his life. His favourite activities included fishing, socializing with friends, playing games, walking his dog and working outdoors. Predeceased by his parents, James in 2002 and Irene in 1997; Ralph is survived by his loving family; sister, Claudette Merk (Mike) of Regina; niece, Michelle Merk (Dave) of Regina Beach and nephew Michael Merk (Rachelle) of Regina; several cousins; and close friends, Bill, Lisa, Emma, Jake, Larissa and Brittni Ulmer. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in Regina Beach Memorial Hall. Interment in Regina Beach Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
