Obituary of Marlene Gale Jans

JANS - On Wednesday, May 31, 2006 Marlene Gale, age 53, dearly beloved wife of Ernest of Regina. Predeceased by her parents Art and Ida Winkler; father-in-law Alfred Gurke. Marlene is survived by her loving husband Ernest; brother-in-law Harold Jans and friend Linda, and Harolds children, Donna and Jennifer; brother-in-law Ken and Kathy Jans and their children Dustin and Alannah; sister-in-law Brenda and Barry Richardson and their children Tara and Kyle; mother-in-law Bertha Gurke of Medicine Hat. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2006 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2006 at 4:30 p.m. in the Uplands Community Centre, 20 Weekes Crescent, Regina. The family wishes to express their thanks to everyone in Palliative Care at the Pasqua Hospital who assisted in Marlenes care over the last eight months. A special thank you to the staff at Wascana Grace Hospice. Flowers gratefully declined.
