Obituary of Hattie Katherin Putz

PUTZ - Hattie (nee Kaiser), on Saturday, June 10, 2006 Hattie passed away unexpectedly at her beloved cottage at Echo Lake. She was born to Nick and Lena Kaiser on November 10, 1930. She was predeceased by her parents and her only sibling, Madelaine Reed. She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of fifty-four years, Tony. She will be greatly missed by her four children, Gerry and Lynda Putz, Karen and Ted Alport, Gail and Dan Stinson and Linda and Bob Leslie. She will be especially missed by her eleven grandchildren to whom she was deeply devoted, Adam and Jarrod Putz, Brie, Michael and Lisa Alport, Scott, Chris, Craig and Eric Stinson and Taylor and Colin Leslie. Her passing will leave a huge void in all of our lives. There was nothing that Mom enjoyed more than the many years spent at the lake surrounded by her family and tending her gardens. A Celebration of Hatties life will take place on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Marys R. C. Church, 13th Avenue and Winnipeg Street, with Father R. Rodriguez, presiding. A private interment will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at the Fort QuAppelle Cemetery. Friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 917A Albert Street, Regina S4R 2P6, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 2360 - 2nd Avenue, Regina S4R 1A6 or the Regina Humane Society, Box 3143, Regina S4P 3G7.
