Obituary of Lloyd Rodger Legare

LEGAR, LLOYD RODGER, of Regina, SK passed away suddenly on June 11th at the age of 56. Lloyd is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 37 years, Doreen; his children, Colin (Sherry) Legar of Regina, Dana (Curtis) Sperle of Calgary, Abbey (Janice) White of Moose Jaw; granddaughters, Samantha and Alyssa Sperle, and Baylee White; father, Alfred of Langley; brother, Robert (Deb) Legar of Fairmont; special cousin Chris (Paul) Plathe of Stockton, CA; and numerous other family members and friends. Lloyd was predeceased by his mother Kathleen, nee Crawford, Legar. Born in Saskatoon, September 22nd, 1949, Lloyd moved to Vancouver at the age of 4 and returned to Saskatchewan at the age of 34. He loved music, traveling, golfing, laughing, spending time with his family and friends, and following his beloved Montreal Canadiens. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses who cared for Lloyd at the Pasqua Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina S4P 2R3 are being accepted in his name. A Celebration of his life will take place Saturday, June 17th at "The German Club, 1727 St. John Street, Regina, Sk. Come and go from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. He will be sorely missed by many but welcomed home by his Mother and Grandmother-in-law. Be happy Baby. Habs in 06/07.
