Obituary of George Leslie Bickford

BICKFORD - George Bickford, late of Regina, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by his wife, Myrtle; his parents, Richard and Carrie; five brothers and sisters, Muriel, Vernon, Hazel, Lorne, and Rodney. George is survived by his sons, Warren (Catherine) of Regina and their children, Alexandra and Jessica, and Barry (Lorraine) of Calgary and their children, Pierre and Stephan; and sister Gladys of Moose Jaw. George was a dedicated family man and involved in his community. He was instrumental in founding Zion United Church in Regina. He was a Past Grand Counsellor of the United Commercial Travellers of America and Past Board Member of Carmichael United Church. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Rev. Dr. Robert A. Kitchen officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
