Obituary of Eleanor Margaret Thomson

THOMSON - On Tuesday, June 20, 2006, Eleanor (Peggy) Margaret Thomson, late of Regina, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by her husband Art and her sisters, Elaine (infant), Ruth, Audrey and Yvonne, she is lovingly remembered by her son Arthur (Neil) Thomson, daughter-in-law Lesley, grandson Aaron of Regina and her niece, Linda Norton of Calgary. Peggy was an avid gardener who enjoyed the outdoors. She supported the Humane Society and the Performing Arts, especially the Globe Theatre and the symphony. In her youth she was an active sportswoman enjoying baseball and tennis as well as other recreational sporting activities. As a long time member of Knox Metropolitan Church, she was very involved in the activities of the church as long as she was able. Memorial Service will be held in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
